The computer was down for a few days; the fan wasn't working so Windows wouldn't let it boot up.

I got my first paycheck from my seasonal job today. I also recieved a letter saying "thank you for your help--after Jan. 15th your connection to us is terminated." 'S ok. It's actually been a pleasant experience and I wouldn't mind taking a few hours a week 'til something else turns up.

Christmas was OK. I stated I wanted nothing but ended up with gift cards and little things. They'll be useful.

I work on New Year's morning. Not until 10:30 but I still probably won't go out that night. Also, I should go to church at 9 that morning.

Finished shoveling four inches of our unexpected White Christmas off the driveway. I don't mind. Until yesterday we didn't expect we'd have one.

I've received nine Christmas cards so far this year, up two from last. I've sent fourteen, but could probably do two or three times that.

You'd think that after reading blogs for over a year I'd have started one already. Well the delay is over thanks to mighty Blogger. Let a thousand flowers bloom....
